The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of specialized experience in project finance and a strong background in drafting and negotiating financing documentation.Duties:Draft and negotiate principal financing documents, including loan agreements, security documents, and inter-creditor agreements.Conduct due diligence and review project documentation to assess legal risks and compliance issues.Provide legal advice and support on project financing structures and strategies.Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.Manage and coordinate legal aspects of project finance transactions from inception to closing.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing.5-8 years of experience practicing law, focusing on project finance.Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex financing agreements.Strong understanding of financial and commercial implications in project finance transactions.Preferred Qualifications:Experience reviewing project documentation, including construction contracts and regulatory filings.Familiarity with energy, infrastructure, or real estate sectors.Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Certifications and Skills:Certification in project finance or related fields (preferred).Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Advanced proficiency in legal drafting and contract interpretation.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
