Come join us as we help the world gain access to more plasma - one donation at a time.Purpose:The Software Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the research, development, and maintenance of the Company's software validation. Position provides oversight to the development, execution, and acceptance of systems, processes, and equipment validation for use within the Company.Create, manage, and execute high-quality USR / FSR / IQ OQ PQ Documents to support all Buoy, 0365, other software, and some equipment validations.Draft & execute test scripts, project plans, risk assessments, and summary reports.Draft & execute Installation, Operational, & Performance Qualification documentation; test scripts, project plans, risk assessments, and summary reports.Provide regulatory guidance needed for validation of software, processes, and equipment in use by the Company, and executes the necessary steps to complete the validation.Ensure information technology validation conforms to all regulations.Work with Corporate Learning and Development, Training, Operations, and Quality/Regulatory to ensure Qualification documentation is approved & release qualified systems into production.Periodic review of completed validations for accuracy and GDP.Investigate software deviations, managing CAPAs and ensuring effectiveness.Track and trend deviations among vendors and internal.Perform SDLC and CSV processes.Maintain current certifications / continual education on relevant topics.Manual and automated testing, research and analyze product features, and learn about new tools, technologies, and testing processes.Maintain communication between vendors & Company on development, acceptance / rejection of releases with suitable presentation of risks, hazards, and deficiencies.Refuse software upgrades as needed.Examine Interface Design for Reliability and Usability.Ensure CR closure is complete, timely and accurate for effectiveness check.Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:SDLC and CSV Development Process Experience.Comfortable with picking up off-the-shelf software, including Web-Based Testing Applications.Familiar with the design and development of computerized systems, with ability to improve the SDLC process and implement effective procedures to guide the Company in Software Quality Assurance.Extensive knowledge of the Source Plasma industry's principles, procedures, and best practices.Knowledge of the software development life cycle and all associated validation principles.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.At least five (5) years’ industry-related experience.
