Our client is seeking a
Logistics Project Manager
with experience managing projects around
supply chain, inventory management,
or
repairs management
(preferred).Long term contract (years) / Ideally hybrid onsite (1-2 days per week) – North County San Diego, CAResponsibilities:Support the Logistics Program Management group.Assist the group that handles repair management projects, sustainment, and aftermarket.Handle logistics, aftermarket operations, and work with customers and PMs to develop a sustainment plan.Collaborate with the customer on shipping products and manage negotiations for after the sale.Work with suppliers on projects related to inventory control and data management.Manage multiple projects simultaneously.Support inventory control.Perform tactical work and support 3 Logistics Program Managers on various projects.Assist with data entry, data cleanup, data support, and smaller tasks as needed.Engage in day-to-day transactions or batch transactions.Communicate with shipping/receiving personnel and demand planners for inventory control.Support work order management and inventory management to ensure delivery schedules are met.Use JIRA and Oracle for transaction management and reporting.Work within the Agile framework for project management.Seeking:Experience as a Program Analyst, Project Manager, Program Manager, or similar.Skills in project/program analysis, management, planning, analytics, process training, documentation, customer relations, and cost savings.Experience in supply chain/maintenance management, audits, budgets, contracts, and cost control.ERP experience, particularly with Oracle (SAP is acceptable).Data analytics skills in Tableau or PowerBI are a plus.Military background is a plus but not required.Knowledge of Agile best practices and JIRA.Must be a US Citizen.
