Weiss Asset Management (WAM), a Boston-based investment firm, is seeking a Junior Recruiter to join our People Operations team. The ideal candidate will be highly reliable, detail-oriented, and personable, with strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. This role offers multiple long-term growth paths within the recruiting team.No prior recruiting or finance experience required.Responsibilities:
Review resumes to identify qualified candidates for open full-time and internship opportunities.Conduct phone screens to assess candidates' experience, qualifications, and overall interest in WAM.Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates, external recruiters, and internal team members.Organize and facilitate internal hiring meetings with stakeholders.Use LinkedIn Recruiter to headhunt and source candidates, identifying top talent for open positions and collecting market intel.Draft job descriptions for various positions by collaborating with hiring managers and relevant team members to gather necessary information.Assess take-home exercises and assignments to evaluate qualifications for specific roles.Coordinate and participate in campus recruiting events to promote WAM and build a pipeline of undergraduate talent.About the Company:
