73823Job DescriptionLocated just north of Boston, our team is actively seeking a mixed signal WiFi Test Development Engineer to bring a diverse array of cutting edge products from prototype to production. The successful candidate will work with our product and design teams to develop complete and innovative test solutions for RF power amplifiers, Wi-Fi modules, switches, couplers and LNA products. As a key contributor, you will develop cutting edge and innovative test solutions in a fast-paced team environment.Hands-on project leadership experience in a technical roleAbility to collaborate with design and product engineers in a multi-disciplinary environmentTeam player with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skillsHigh level of attention to detailEffective time management skills and ability to multi-taskEnsure adequate test coverage based on product requirementsDevelop tests that are self-contained, well documented, maintainable and reusableParticipate in test data analysis and ensure accuracy and repeatability of test coverageJob RequirementsBachelor of Science (BS) degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc)Solid understanding in one or more of the following (RF, Wi-Fi, analog and digital circuits)Strong software background in one or more programming languages (C, C++, C#, Python), Windows, UNIX, LinuxExperience with semiconductor ATE testers for wafer prober or final test (Cohu LTX PAx with Unison, Advantest 93K or Teradyne UltraFlex with IG-XL)Familiarity with data communication protocols (GPIB, USB, I2C, SPI, MIPI, RS232)Proficiency with software/hardware integration including calibration, de-embedding, debug and correlationAbility to automate test routines and program external equipment (ATE, signal generator, VNA, spectrum analyzer, power meter, oscilloscope)Experience with modulation, dynamic EVM, GSM, EDGE, WCDMA, CDMA, LTE, Front End Modules (FEM)The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $112,500 - $215,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
