We are seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Designer II to join our team. As an Architectural Designer II, you will play a crucial role in advancing projects through innovative design solutions. You will have the opportunity to work independently with guidance, demonstrating an eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Independently contribute to the development of project and design solutions, demonstrating a proactive and innovative approach.
Modify or create implementation documents, applying standard architectural techniques and procedures.
Help to prepare client presentations and effectively communicate project design intent.
Initiate and design in coordination with client requirements, specifications, and goals.
Communicate design ideas with sketches and computer design tools (such as 3D modeling, AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
Attend on-site visits, field reviews, and client/project meetings, documenting these visits as needed.
Work with the Principals, Director of Design, and Project Managers to prepare presentations, design, and produce documents through the construction documents phase.
Work collaboratively with office staff and other satellite offices.
Assist during the construction administration in the review and processing of shop drawings and approvals of material samples in alignment with design goals.
Qualifications:
Excellent design and graphic skills.
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail, and highly organized.
Strong presentation skills.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
3-5+ years of experience.
