Job Description:The Records Manager oversees the operational and strategic records & information management services at an Epiq client with the primary focus of achieving service level agreements and surpassing client expectations. This position ensures that the client is receiving the optimal level of service in support of receipt, arrangement, storage, preservation, destruction and safeguarding client and administrative records. This position is based at a prestigious AMLAW 50 law firm.

Responsibilities:Follow established guidelines and procedures for creating, circulating, storing, tracking, transferring, and destroying client records.Serve as the principal liaison between Epiq, the client’s administration, and Records Staff.Track the circulation of files to and from client staff in Records Management System (RMS) database.Manage all Records Staff employed at the site, including recruiting, training, performance management, and development.Manage process to regular inventory of files stored onsite in client facilities, including exception reporting.Assist client with file transfer activities, obtaining relevant files, preparing file indexes, staging for review, and preparing for shipment as instructed.Assist client with retention activities, including obtaining relevant files, preparing file indexes, staging for review, and preparing for shipment or secure destruction as instructed.Assist client with clean-up activities, including triage, categorization, and appropriate storage or disposition of content.Qualifications & Characteristics:High School Diploma and college preferred or equivalent years of Records Management experience.Possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a Records Management operation (law firm preferred).Familiarity with FileTrail, iManage Records Manager, Autonomy Records Manager (FileSurf), LegalKey and/or similar Records Management Systems.Familiarity with iManage Work, NetDocuments, OpenTEXT DM and/or similar Document or Enterprise Content Management Systems.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.Experience transitioning to an electronic environment.Ability to lift to 30 lbs., and stand on a consistent basis.The Compensation range for this role is 72,996 to 87,595 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
