The Nuna Provider Engineering team is building a greenfield consumer facing (Health Systems and Health Care Providers) portal and supporting multi-channel integrations – with CRM, CPaaS, BI tooling, EHR integration, and more.We support all of the communication and PHI data transactions between Nuna and our partners, Nuna and our Community Health Workers, and internally with Nuna’s patient-focused mobile application. In order to do this we leverage a diverse set of tools and skill-sets in a dynamic, fast-paced, cohesive engineering team with opportunities to delve deeper into multiple areas of technical expertise – architecture, data security, full-stack web applications, developer operations and much more.Our work spans across multiple internal and external teams, including (in addition to other software engineering teams): Product, InfraSec, Trust, Legal & Compliance, Community Health Workers and more. We strive to be the smallest yet strongest high-efficiency engineering team at Nuna. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of experienceExperience building production-hardened web services, with consideration for security, performance, scalability, reliability, and repeatability. Familiarity with application server frameworks like Spring BootExperience in full stack development and open to being language agnosticExperience with creating performant, scalable APIs using service-oriented system architectureExperience rapidly prototyping new product concepts, especially for enterprise clientsUnderstanding of automated testing concepts in web apps and the ability to consistently apply themKnowledge of database fundamentals like indexing, SQL queries, schema migrations, and managing backupsExperience managing production services and designing smooth deployment processes, ideally in AWSPreferred Qualifications
Experience building multi-tenant enterprise web applications for seamless scalabilityExperience building third party integrations with industry standard cross-service patternsExperience integrating with RBAC administration systems to manage application contentExperience building microservices to power cross product service accessExperience excelling in a Healthcare startup environment with cross team dependenciesWe take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The expected salary range for this position is $188,000 to $230,750.
