Role of the Senior Applications Analyst (JD Edwards)
The Senior Applications Analyst will serve as the system subject matter expert for supporting Finance and Supply Chain areas. This role will partner with business stakeholders to formulate innovative solutions in support of current and future business and company objectives, along with providing production support. Collaborates with the technical team on customizations and updates required to achieve the desired functionality. Responsible for ensuring production applications are operating at an optimal level. Individual will troubleshoot production issues, test, QA application functions and maintain application stability.
Essential Responsibilities
Provides production support for key JDE EnterpriseOne applications including Financials, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay areas.
Reviews, analyzes, and maintains setups for various functional areas to ensure that system functionality deployed is meeting the needs of the organization.
Maintains configuration of modules such as Sales Order, Inventory, Procurement, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable. Knowledge of JDE EnterpriseOne Address Book, Security, and Foundation.
Maintains key setups (System Constants, AAI’s, Order Activity Rules) and crucial system tables. Identifies enhancement opportunities and leads implementation of new functionality as needed.
Understands the business requirements and creates functional specifications for development of custom applications, reports, and interfaces.
Serves as the ERP application expert and performs project management for system enhancements and day-to-day production support.
Understands the integrations between the modules in JDE including GL impact and should have experience in handling third-party integrations.
Works with the business team, consultants, and cross-functional teams regarding configuration options, best practices, and cost-effective solutions to support business processes.
Primary point-of contact for system configuration, ESU’s, SAR’s, testing software updates, and other project deliverables as assigned.
Provides support for specified functional modules including, but not limited to, researching, resolving issues, year-end support activities, recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet business requirements.
Assists in the review, testing, and implementing of system upgrades and patches. Works with Business teams to coordinate upgrades and fixes. Create and maintain functional documents related to processes.
Continually analyzes systems for best ways to streamline processes and increase system efficiency. Ensures all system documentation is up to date.
Adheres to production support SLA’s and maintain change management approvals for all deployments.
Works with the security team to establish user access for certain functions. Assists in troubleshooting security issues to ensure the integrity of the security structure.

Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:
Six or more years of functional experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and/or specified functional modules as a lead Analyst and/or functional lead.
Knowledge of Sales Orders process, Inventory, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and GL modules.
Knowledge of ERP Applications, Implementation of Interfaces to integrate with different applications, databases, and technology platforms.
Knowledge of application testing, designing, planning and executing application testing strategies and best practices to ensure software quality throughout all stages of application development.
Knowledge of project management methodologies in defining the tasks as it relates to the functional modules.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle as it pertains to an ERP system.
Knowledge of interface points, ERP architecture to engage with various teams in resolution of various software issues.
Knowledge of SQL and reporting tools to support data analytics.
Knowledge of reporting tool like Hubble & Spreadsheet Server preferred.
Knowledge of Bottomline and AP 1099 year-end processing.
Project management experience preferred.
Implementation experience with an ERP system preferred.
Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft 365 - Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
