Qorvo’s Power organization focuses on power conversion using PMICs, power loss protection, and discrete power supplies to support a wide range of Mobile, Consumer, IoT, and Industrial applications.Responsibilities may include:Hands-on, lab-based power supply testingSolder and modify boardsDesign, build, and test customer power reference designsGenerate supporting documentationTroubleshoot customer failures and support their design processSupport IC failuresWork with other organizations to develop cross-functional evaluation kitsGenerate and perform evaluation kit manufacturing testsQualifications:Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum GPA of 3.5Able to read schematics and/or have done analog or power circuit design projects/PCB design/layoutExposure to power measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers preferred, electronic loadsBe able to work in a lab environment to solder components and modify hardwareHave strong technical troubleshooting skills to debug design issuesProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Self-starter with good communication skillsBe able to multitask working on several projects at the same timeStrong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical informationDetail-oriented to ensure design and delivery of high-yielding productsAbility to enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment and as part of a teamThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship by the company.
