This role is ideal for legal professionals with a passion for advising government contractors on compliance and regulatory matters, eager to make a significant impact within a supportive and innovative environment.Duties:Provide expert guidance to government contractors on federal and state regulatory compliance.Draft and negotiate contracts and teaming agreements with subcontractors and suppliers involved in government projects.Assist clients in navigating bid protests and government contract disputes.Counsel clients on claims, including preparing and prosecuting requests for equitable adjustments.Advise on corporate transactions and support due diligence processes.Requirements:Broad experience in government contract law and regulatory compliance.Strong academic credentials from a recognized law school (U.S. JD required).Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.Certifications:Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (preferably Virginia).Skills:Exceptional communication and writing abilities.Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving.Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Preferred knowledge of Virginia state court practices and procedures.Location:Washington, D.C.Additional Benefits:Flexible Work Schedule:
