We provide our reps with an environment in which they can make valuable contributions from day one while also building opportunities for learning and growth.The Federal Sales Manager, DOD Programs OpportunityReporting to the Area Sales Director, this Senior level role will drive the sales process for Federal customers. Our Federal Sales Manager (FSM) will lead the sales process within an assigned territory for the Department of Defense. The right candidate for the position will enjoy closing new logos while simultaneously managing and expanding a book of install base customers. Our FED RSM's organize and conduct sales presentations, site visits, and product demonstrations to prospects and represent Okta in a consistent, effective and professional manner to best develop and win new clients.What you'll be doingMeet or exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue targetsDevelop and execute a comprehensive regional planAccelerate customer adoptionContinually build and grow a robust sales pipelineWork with partners to extend reach & drive adoptionLead contract negotiationsDevelop long-term strategic relationships with key accountsEnsure customer happiness and successModerate travel as neededWhat you'll bring to the role10+ years of quota exceeding Sales experience working for a technology vendor selling Enterprise solutionsExperience selling B2B SaaS software solutions5+ years of Federal Sales experience focused on DoDA track record of developing a greenfield territory, adding net new logos in an Enterprise software roleEffective territory development mentalityStrong verbal and written communications skillsExtensive customer networkAnd extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!Cloud FirstSecurityAdditional requirements:This position requires the ability to access federal environments and/or have access to protected federal data.
