OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled and operational Manager of Web Operations to join our site merchandising team. The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 5 years of experience in digital logistics, content management, and operations, preferably within the retail or fashion sector. This role will be instrumental in shaping how we achieve our operational KPIs and ensure the best end-to-end customer fulfillment experience. You will report to the head of web operations and be her number two partner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee shipment distribution between warehouses, manage pre-orders, ship from store performance and operations, inventory PO management, and international operations. Proven ability to automate and scale manual processes and drive projects from ideation to execution.
Oversee the integration of inventory systems with the ecommerce platform to maintain accurate stock levels and product availability across warehouses. Ensure timeline updates and synchronization across all parties.
Work closely with teams across planning, allocation, buying, warehouse, and CX to ensure efforts align with broader business goals. Foster strong inter-departmental relationships to drive efficiency and performance.
Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Heap) to monitor performance, create dashboards, and provide actionable insights. Develop and maintain key metrics reports to inform strategic decisions.
Own the digital content lifecycle, including uploading, updating, and optimizing product listings and attribute tags to enhance user experience and drive conversion.
Closely monitor return rates and review feedback, identifying key trends to make website enhancements and operational efficiencies in collaboration with Design, Merch, and Product Development.
Strong ability to tackle complex logistical and operational challenges with a strategic mindset, creating scalable solutions that improve our overall experience.
Proven ability to drive projects from ideation to execution, balancing strategic goals with operational feasibility.
Ability to translate data and feedback into actionable insights, ensuring the digital experience aligns with customer expectations and Alo’s brand values.
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience in web operations and inventory management.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
Proficiency in web tools such as Shopify, Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive decision-making and performance improvements.
Advanced Excel skills to effectively organize and analyze data.
Experience with planning and allocation of inventory, warehouse fulfillment operations, and inventory management.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 per year, which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long-term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
