Shift: Day Shift 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, Every other weekend, 2 major and 2 minor holidays
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Less than 1 year, completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with required clinical hours. Direct patient care experience preferred.
License: RN - Single State or Multi-state Compact
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Must-Have: Ability to read, write, and speak English. Basic computer skills. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and manage emergencies decisively and respectfully. Excellent time management skills. Evidence-based and analytical skills with strong critical thinking.
Job Description:
- Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care.- Deliver individualized patient care using evidence-based practices, with an understanding of cultural diversity.- Engage in relationship-based patient-centered care, partnering with patients and significant others.- Ensure safe, quality patient care through effective teamwork and interdisciplinary communication.- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, supporting recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.- Participate in and support performance improvement activities, research, and shared governance.- Complete professional competency assessments and mandatory education.- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified workforce.- Uphold healthcare system policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.- Proactively plan patient care across the care continuum.- Contribute to the development of protocols and procedures for best practice outcomes.- Support efficient use of human and material resources.- Fulfill other duties as assigned and comply with all professional standards.
