Job Description:
- The RN Clinical Perioperative Nurse is an active member of an interdisciplinary care team providing individualized, high-quality, safe patient care.- Practice is guided by professional models and core competencies, advocating for patient care and safety.- Engage in all aspects of the Nursing Process to deliver evidence-based and individualized clinical care.- Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care reflective of cultural diversity.- Coordinate and document safe, quality patient care using interdisciplinary communication methods.- Demonstrate fiscal responsibility and promote team recruitment and retention.- Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities.- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to promote professional practice and workforce development.- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and healthcare system policies.- Actively engage in data collection and pose clinical questions to advance practice.- Plan for patient care across the continuum and support the development of best practice protocols.- Utilize resources efficiently and perform other duties as assigned while adhering to policies and standards.
