Job DescriptionJob Title: RN Clinical Nurse - General Cardiac Night Shift
Job Specialty: Registered Nurse / Licensed - Inpatient
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Less than 1 year preferred; completion of accredited/approved nursing school with required clinical hours
License: Valid RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Must-Have:
- Strong ability in reading, writing, and speaking the English language- Basic computer skills to enhance clinical care- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies with decisiveness and composure- Excellent time management and critical thinking skills
Job Description:
- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.- Deliver patient-centered care sensitive to age, gender, and cultural diversity.- Engage patients and significant others in care plans through effective communication.- Document patient care accurately and timely and participate in interdisciplinary communication.- Demonstrate teamwork and practice fiscal responsibility to support recruitment and retention.- Participate in performance improvement activities and promote inter/intra-disciplinary processes.- Complete ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education.- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to nurses and other healthcare staff.- Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research.- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, regulations, and accreditation standards.- Support efficient use of human and material resources.- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all organizational policies and standards.
Additional Notes:
- Every other weekend rotation- Requirement to work 2 major and 2 minor holidays
