License: RN - Single State or Multi-state Compact
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Must-Have: Ability to read, write, and speak English; basic computer skills; strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; customer service skills; ability to function in a fast-paced environment; possess excellent time management skills; strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Job Description:
- Perform the full nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, using evidence-based practices to ensure individualized, high-quality patient care.- Provide patient-centered care that accommodates population-specific characteristics and cultural diversity.- Partner with patients and their significant others through appropriate communication methods, focusing on the patient's goals.- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care using inclusive interdisciplinary communication methods and timely documentation.- Demonstrate teamwork and fiscal responsibility, promoting recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.- Support performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice by leading improvement activities and participating in shared governance.- Complete all professional competency assessments and mandatory education for population-specific care.- Serve as a preceptor or mentor for other nurses and staff, modeling professional nursing practice.- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement.- Participate in data collection and consult experts to address clinical practice questions.- Plan proactively for patient care across the care continuum.- Develop protocols and procedures in collaboration with care managers and the healthcare team to achieve best practice outcomes.- Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources.- Perform other assigned duties and comply with all health system policies and standards.
