Job DescriptionJob Title: RN Clinical Nurse - Neonatal ICU - Nights

Shift: Night - 3x12 - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (36 Hours)

Experience: Less than 1 year; Completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours required; direct patient care experience preferred

License: RN - Single State or Multi-state Compact

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)

Job Description:- Function as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, individualized care to neonates.- Perform comprehensive care using evidence-based practice; exhibit critical thinking to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Deliver relationship-based patient-centered care tailored to population-specific characteristics.- Engage patients and significant others in care plans, promoting transparent communication.- Maintain up-to-date clinical practice standards.- Coordinate and document patient care, fostering professional communication and a respectful environment.- Demonstrate teamwork, support recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.- Engage in performance improvement and support shared governance.- Complete ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education.- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a skilled nursing workforce.- Promote evidence-based practice, contribute to nursing research, and improvement activities.- Uphold healthcare policies, regulatory and accreditation standards.- Participate in data collection and consult with experts for practice improvement.- Plan patient care across the continuum proactively.- Develop protocols and procedures collaboratively.- Support effective resource use and perform other duties as assigned.- Comply with organizational policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Shift Details: Night shift 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM; requires three weekend shifts in a four-week schedule period; two major and two minor holidays.

Certifications Required: BLS, NRP, RN License
