About Harmonic .Role Description
We are looking for a Tradeshow Coordinator. You will report to the Sr. Director, Marketing Communications.Location
Hybrid role – with periodic onsite work at our San Jose Office.What you will be doing
The Tradeshow Coordinator will be responsible for a diverse set of marketing activities that includes events, tradeshows, related internal communications & social media, to drive our business forward. The ideal candidate would be a quick learner, willing to wear many hats and have a “can-do” attitude. Tasks and skills will include but not be limited to:Plan and execute tradeshows and related events.Manage the booking and registration of regional tradeshows.Coordinate logistics from booth layout to event services; every detail is meticulously planned and executed.Coordinate shipments for regional shows - inbound and outbound.Support and coordinate customer on-site meetings.Conduct pre and post event surveys.Create tradeshow and event planning presentations with content updates.Coordinate with vendors for marketing promotional material needs, ensuring product arrives by due date.Assist with social media for tradeshows and events.Facilitate updates to branded assets for event-related communications as well as updates to collateral and presentations.Manage Corporate Marketing department invoices and vendor procurement, including PO management, processing pipeline for invoices & SOWs.Perform miscellaneous marketing tasks and duties as needed to support the team goals and objectives.What you will need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in project management, marketing, communications, or similar.A minimum of 3 years of experience as a trade show coordinator or similar.Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently effectively.Team player and personable, but discreet and trustworthy with confidential information.Organized, thorough and detail-oriented in approach to tasks.Willingness to learn and flexible with responsibilities.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Efficiently multi-tasks.Social media experience a plus.Creative problem solver.Years of Direct Experience Required
3 - 5 yrs preferred.Travel
You may be required to travel about 20 percent.Pay & Benefits
