With a prime beachfront address, Four Seasons brings unrivalled style and service to this next-generation coastal city.YOUR NEXT CAREER ADVENTUREThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Coordinate with the Sales Department and Catering to ensure proper utilization of function space to yield maximum revenues.Negotiate with clients through the use of creative and attractive menu presentations and event proposals, to achieve both maximum revenue/profit potential and fulfillment of contractual responsibilities while satisfying client needs.Finalize the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through up selling and ensuring effective communication both written (Resumes, BEO, Daily Reports) and personal contact with all departments for the success of the event.Supervise the execution of banquet events. Review all function space with banquet manager and when necessary, head house attendant. Ensure satisfaction of client at the outset of all events.Plan and/or attend and/or participate in meetings with hotel staff and clients.Actively solicit new business and respond to inquiries with the intention of confirming profitable corporate/social events business and achieving Quarterly Sales Goals.Assist in developing and executing projects for assigned market areas to increase catering activity, volume, and profit.Be fully versed in the facilities and capabilities of the hotels competitive set.WHO WE’RE LOOKING FORRequires 2-3 years of related hotel catering & conference services experience.Previous leadership experience in a luxury hotel setting.Education: College degree preferred or similar experience.Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.Proven interpersonal skills with a track record of successful client interactions.Good organizational skills.Ability to multitask.Attention to detail.High level of creativity.Ability to work long and irregular hours, weekends, and evenings.Able to negotiate, organize, delegate & work under pressure.VISA REQUIREMENTSAuthorization to work in the United States is required, unless the candidate is currently in a managerial role with another Four Seasons location.WHAT TO EXPECTDynamic Employee Culture where you are encouraged to be your true self!Inclusive and diverse employee engagement events all year-round.Competitive wages and benefits.Excellent and ongoing Training and Development opportunities.Complimentary Accommodation at other Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.Complimentary Employee Meals.
