This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale.

The Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale is looking for a talented

Director of Catering and Conference Services.

The Director will oversee all aspects of a profit and service driven Catering and Conference Services Department, including supervision of the Directors/Assistant Directors and administrative staff in their day-to-day roles.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Evaluate current sales practices and make recommendations to maximize profitability.

Oversee the quarterly administration and seek new ways to motivate and maximize revenues with the Catering and Conference Services Incentive plans.

Finalize requirements of personally booked or assigned Catering and Conference Services bookings while maximizing revenue potential.

Supervise the execution of banquet events and ensure satisfaction of clients at the outset of all events.

Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities and operational needs of all departments.

Plan and/or attend meetings with hotel staff and clients.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Requires 5+ years of catering or conferences service manager experience.

Previous leadership experience in a luxury hotel setting.

Education: College degree preferred or similar experience.

Requires proficiency in English.

Proven interpersonal skills with a track record of successful client interactions.

Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Computer literacy to include Delphi Sales and Catering Software, MS Word, Excel, and ability to use e-mail and Internet.
