by becoming our Office Assistant 1ROLEUnder close supervision, provides administrative and clerical support, which may include general knowledge of a specific administrative or professional functional area, such as Accounting and Finance; Human Resources; Information Systems; Office Services; Marketing and Sales, etc.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF - OFFICE ASSISTANT 1Composes and prepares correspondence and develops reports as directed. May work from handwritten drafts. Adheres to approval and signature protocols.Receives and directs telephone calls in a courteous and timely manner, answers general questions and provides general customer service.Assists in the development, implementation and upkeep of office procedures.Sets up and maintains files for the department.Performs calendaring responsibilities, when needed informs attendees of important meetings and/or changes to schedules.May prepare travel arrangements, expense reports and processes invoices.Coordinates meeting and conference room logistics, arranges food and beverages when necessary, greets visitors and attends to ancillary administrative requests if needed.Copies, assembles, and binds reports and proposals.Assists or backs up other clerical positions as needed.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSAny combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying.
