In Private Wealth Management, we help our clients pursue their wealth management goals through careful advice & astute investment management. We work closely with high-net-worth individuals, families and select foundations and endowments to develop wealth and investment management strategies. We then identify investment opportunities to help them reach their objectives. We complement these services with robust execution capabilities and attentive client service.
PWM Client Communications Platform team, part of PWM Technology, is responsible for building a strategic platform to deliver communications (E.g. - Statements, Tax Documents, etc) to clients through various channels. The team is on a mission to execute a multi-year strategy to build the platform to be used for new regulatory & business communications in addition to migrate existing communications into the new platform.
The platform comprises scalable micro-services to fulfill various steps in the journey of sending communications to clients using event-driven frameworks. The platform enables other technology applications to integrate with it to send their communications. Business users can create communications using a rich user interface. The platform should be capable of managing large volumes of communication requests (in order of multi millions) with varying time sensitivity using priority across multiple tenants via queue/event-based frameworks.
Our team of engineers builds solutions to the most complex problems and has the opportunity to work with business & operations as stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with various stakeholders, including Architects, Senior leaders & Business sponsors to develop innovative solutions addressing the current challenges.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
We are seeking highly collaborative, creative, and intellectually curious engineers who are passionate about forming and implementing cutting-edge software. Contribute to engineering leadership in architecting the platform components.
Lead a technical team of 4+ members in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design, code review and production migrations.Experience in software development, including a clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts.Excellent communication skills including experience speaking to technical & business audiences and working globally.Interact with business users for resolving issues with applications.Play a key role in influencing platform architecture and drive adoption of modern technology stack (Kubernetes, Prometheus, ...).Produce scalable and extensible designs.Act as hands-on developer in the role of architect to build and ship new features.Guide junior resources technically.Comfortable with multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders and working as part of cross-regional teams.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Java & related frameworks.5+ years of experience working on NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred).5+ years of experience producing scalable software designs.5+ years of experience in Spring.Strong sense of innovation and ownership to drive adoption of new technology frameworks.5+ years of experience designing and deploying microservices using REST.Experience working on observability & monitoring.Experience working on adopting Kubernetes.Experience in Automated Testing frameworks.Experience in Messaging Frameworks (Kafka, ...).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on large scale systems with event-driven architectures.Experience in Financial Services/Industry.
