We're looking for someone who has demonstrated expertise in working with hotel clients to transform and grow their customer-facing operations, owner and stakeholder profitability, and internal operations and systems.As a member of our team, you will be responsible for building client relationships, supporting the growth and development of our practice, and supporting business development activities. You will work with clients to develop functional strategies and build new capabilities that elevate performance in guest and employee experience, operational efficiency and effectiveness, and ways to leverage emerging technologies.You will be expected to deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise and Skills, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, and 5) People Development. At
the Senior Manager / Associate Director Level , this means overseeing advisory consulting engagements, being a trusted advisor to clients, establishing oneself as a thought leader in your field, solving complex problems, consultatively working with a client to achieve business goals, and serving as a people leader, guiding multiple teams as they work to transform a client and the world.ResponsibilitiesServe as the Engagement Lead and manage teams of Managers, Senior Consultants, and Consultants for one or more commercial projects to ensure well-aligned engagement delivery, profitability, and overall client satisfaction.Enrich client partnering and anticipate client needs based on a solid understanding of emerging industry requirements and/or technological breakthroughs in the Travel & Hospitality industry.Support and contribute to the establishment of thought leadership to promote Cognizant's brand and to drive additional opportunities for Cognizant.Support business development activities within an account or region, including pricing the consulting component of engagements, resource planning, and supporting project estimates.Assess proposed solutions from an expansion and strategic growth perspective, including partner/alliance involvement.Serve as a people leader, supporting the recruitment, onboarding, upskilling, and mentorship of your colleagues in Consulting; participate in people development and community-building activities.Acts as a resource for team members and colleagues based on extensive consulting and industry expertise.Leverage collegial networks across Cognizant (e.g., sales, service line community, offshore delivery) and external partners to innovate solutions or resolve issues.Qualifications10+ years of consulting, professional services, digital strategy development, advisory, or transformation programs serving hotel clients in a client-facing capacity; experience implementing large scale hospitality solutions in areas including GRS, PMS, POS, or Customer Experience and Loyalty.A proven track record of program delivery leadership in a client-facing role, with at least 2 of these (though ideally more) in leading digital technology teams.Experience in successfully developing and leading consultant teams in planning, task structuring, analysis, and solution delivery.Bachelor's degree in a relevant business or technical discipline; MBA or advanced business degree preferred.Travel Required: Up to 50%.Onsite Requirements: Hybrid, including work from Cognizant and client locations.Cognizant is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/VSalary and Other Compensation :The annual salary for this position is between $165,000 - $190,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.Benefits : Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Medical/Dental/Vision/Life InsurancePaid holidays plus Paid Time Off401(k) plan and contributionsLong-term/Short-term DisabilityPaid Parental LeaveEmployee Stock Purchase PlanDisclaimer:
