Responsibilities:Responsible for the coordination and completion of software releases.Defines and executes release process activities such as:Identifying target release build;Finalizing customer facing release notes;Coordinate with QA partners on build quality/readiness for release.Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Defines and manages software release calendar and cadence - accounting for major product launches, scheduled holidays, emergent issues.
Required:3+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.May require a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.Understand how software works with change management.Familiarity with Software SDLC.
Reports on software release quality including:Operational metricsProcess metrics, i.e. time from feature cut off to release;Voice of the customer signals per app build i.e. identifying influx of bad customer ratings post-release.Release train delays.
Preferred:Software release planning/executionJira ExperiencePMP Certification
Degree or Certification:Bachelor's Degree Required
