Location: Merrimack Middle School
Date Available: ASAP Merrimack Middle School is looking for a Paraeducator to support teachers and Dean of students with MTSS-B activities and restorative practices.
JOB GOAL : To support students and to implement Individual Educational Plans and other prescribed plans, under the direction of a certified teacher or licensed professional.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with middle school children is preferred. Preferred knowledge of PBIS, Restorative practice, and/or responsive classroom.
Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and/or small group reflection with students around behavioral expectations. Support students during lunch detentions and in-school suspensions. Strong collaboration skills and able to provide the student support team with student behavior data. Provide a safe environment, supervise students, and accommodate students' social and behavioral needs. Assist in delivering behavioral reflection practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with technology and data keeping. Demonstrate positive work habits by showing initiative, cooperation, dependability, efficiency, and productivity. Competitive benefits package, including, but not limited to:

Hours: 7.25 Days per year: 183 Salary based on experience starting at $15.81 to $19.52.
