Winn Army Community Hospital is a 112-bed community hospital which will feature a new Women's Health and Mammography Center. Our healthcare team provides primary and specialty care for a patient population of over 70,000. As a civilian family practice physician you will play an integral role in providing exceptional healthcare to the Soldiers and Families in our great Army and the 3rd Infantry Division.
Key supporting specialties at Winn include OB/Gyn, general and orthopedic surgery, EENT, Psychiatry, Dermatology, and Urology. Enjoy the benefits of a full inpatient and outpatient EMR with digital radiography.

This is an employed civilian Physician (Occupational Medicine ) position that affords job security, a competitive salary, bonuses, moving expenses, full malpractice coverage, up to 26 days paid vacation, 11 days paid Federal Holidays, a sick leave benefit, CME opportunities, and a first-class health and retirement benefit package.

Responsibilities
As a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner:
* Provide comprehensive health care to patients utilizing evidenced-based clinical practice guidelines.* Conduct various physical examinations such as pre-employment, commission, re-enlistment, overseas screening/exceptional family member screening, separation physicals, retirement, and initiation of Limited Duty boards.* Order appropriate diagnostic tests.* Assess, screen, and refer patients to specialists at other Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) or network facilities.* Obtain detailed history and physical exam.* Establish a preliminary and/or final diagnosis with appropriate treatment.

Must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination and possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
