OverviewThis position is in the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Nephrologist you will:

Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultation services.

Refer patients to other specialty clinics, as required, for further evaluation either on outpatient or inpatient basis to determine the best diagnosis and treatment.

Order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays, necessary to complete medical evaluations of cases.

Participate in the medical and allied health education programs.

Responsible for over-site of medical care given by midlevel providers working on the Inpatient Medicine Service.

Interface with military healthcare providers in the long-term management of transplant patients who have returned to network healthcare.

Guide, instruct, and train trainees in the medical and allied health education programs.

QualificationsUS Citizenship required

Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
