ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the safety and security of employees, guests, facilities and grounds.Mans a post and patrols buildings, grounds, and parking areas to maintain order, enforce regulations, perform regulatory function and ensure compliance with applicable laws and rules.Acts to protect facilities from fire, theft, burglary, assault, and other such causes that may threaten the safety and security of the business, property, employees and guests.Acts to prevent entry by persons not allowed by policy or law.Acts to prevent the sale to, or consumption of, alcoholic beverages by underage persons. Respectfully warns or ejects disruptive individuals.Confers with management; interviews guests, witnesses and employees to investigate disturbances, complaints and accidents.Provides money escorts and chip fills as necessary.Responds to medical emergencies and provides CPR/First Aid/AED care and assistance when necessary.Operates diagnostic equipment approved for use as a Certified Emergency Medical Technician.Monitors and ensures the proper maintenance and stocking of on-site CPR, First Aid and other related medical equipment. Must maintain confidentiality at all times and adhere to HIPAA requirements.In a timely manner, provides written reports to document actions.Performs traffic control when necessary.Assists and monitors evacuation routes.Works days, nights, weekends, special events, overtime and holidays as required.Must learn and assure staff is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures, National Indian Gaming Commission Rules, Washington State Gambling Commission Regulations, IRS Title 31 Requirements and the Stillaguamish Gaming Act.Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.Performs other duties as assigned.
QualificationsExceptional guest service skills required.Must have and maintain current Emergency Medical Technician Certification by the State of Washington and other necessary instructor certifications.Experience and training in casino security or equivalent combination of education and experience pertaining to security or law enforcement that demonstrates an ability to perform the requirements of the position.Casino experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, RegulationsMust be able to obtain and maintain a Class III gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.Must have a valid Washington State Driver License.Must have and maintain current Emergency Medical Technician Certification by the State of Washington and other necessary instructor certifications.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires the ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift with occasional bending and crouching. There are no adverse conditions, but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
