The Nurse Practitioner is an independent health care provider who, working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary health care team, is responsible for providing comprehensive care for our patients (family focused). The NP educates clients and/or any available family members in order to promote wellness, prevent health problems, maintain current health, and intervene in illnesses.
Requirements
* Weekends required* Must posses 2+ years of Experience in Urgent Care or Internal Medicine* Must be the graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner school with board certification* License requirements: Current State License* Must be CPR certified* Must be computer literate or learn within 6 months, be able to follow written and oral instructions, be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.* Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action, be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.* Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
