QUALIFICATION HIGHLIGHTS: • Must be able to become certified by the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) in non-violent crisis interventions. • First Aid and CPR training desirable. • Experience working in an education setting implementing intensive behavioral intervention programs for students with complex and/or severe behavioral problems. • Driving will be required. NOTE to TCDE employees: Employees that apply for a promotional opportunity will typically be placed on step one of the new higher classification. If step one is lower than their current salary, they will be placed at a step that provides for at least a 5% increase. If they have previous experience in a same higher classification they will be placed commensurate with that verified experience (lower classification experience does not apply to higher classifications).
