This NP shall perform complete, detailed and accurate histories; as well as to review patient records to develop comprehensive medical status reports. Additionally, the NP will complete physical examinations; make diagnoses and institute therapy, including drug therapy. This individual will institute emergency measures and emergency treatment; arrange hospital admissions and discharges at the direction of the collaborating Physician. The NP will also perform hospital rounds; provide instructions and guidance regarding medical care matters to patients. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Description

Master of Science in Nursing degree required.Minimum 2 years of related nursing experience required.License / Certification required: Active Nurse Practitioner license required, active Nurse Practitioner license through American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) required.BLS certification required.Knowledge of basic Windows based PC operations.Excellent organizational skills.Good oral and written communication skills.Ability to maintain a professional and customer centric composure in difficult or challenging situations.Ability to work from broad directions and be self motivated.Ability to prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency.Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds throughout the organization.Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to guest, visitors, and patients.
