The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of obstetrics and gynecology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Teaching responsibilities will include clinical training and supervision of medical students and residents and participation in formal teaching curriculum.
Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient prenatal and gynecology care, labor and delivery coverage, and gynecologic surgery.
Candidates would join a group of full-time obstetricians and gynecologists, advanced practice nurses and midwives in a faculty practice at Penn Health for Women, Radnor. Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills are required. A commitment to resident and medical student education is required.
