What you need to know about this position:Housed in a state of the art new facility designed using voice of the customer, our Emergency department has 28 acute care rooms and 5 Rapid Medical Assessment rooms providing optimal patient experience and work flow.As a high energy department with 100% of physicians Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, we see an average of 45,000 patients.The Emergency Department utlizies Paramedic as a key member of ED staff providing optimum patient care.Our Paramedics in the ED have an hourly base rate starting at $22.47. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
Updated Night Shift pay differential
In this position you would be scheduled to work 3 -12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week, considered full-time) with start/end times of 7:00pm-7:30am with a holiday and weekend requirement.With at least 16 hours per week, this position is benefit eligible.
What is required for this position:Upon hire, you must have:
Indiana State Paramedic License Or National Registry Paramedic Certification with the ability to obtain an unrestricted state license within 60 days of hire
Within 30 days of hires you must have:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Association (AHA).Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
Within 6 months of hire you must have
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
(CRH provides training & time to acquire certification after employment)This position will require frequent standing, walking talking and listening as well as lifting or moving more than 100 pounds
