Join a collaborative team on our Pediatric Cardiothoracic ICU Service. As an APP on this service, you can make a difference in our patient and families lives.

The APP team works to manage the care for the patients in the Peds CTICU post operatively and pre operatively. APPs also assist in coordinating some care and provide some outpatient follow- up visits.

NP1 (less than 6 months NP exp) Salary range: $76.51/hourly

NP2: Salary range: $84.82- $121.13/hourly

* Successful completion of a Master's Degree or higher in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in Pediatrics, Acute Care - Required* CA NP, NPF, and CA RN license - Required* NPI #, DEA # - Required* Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES- Required

* National Certification in Nurse Practitioner Specialty as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner- Required* BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - Required* PALS certification from American Heart Association -Required* Pediatric CTICU exp as a RN or NP - Required* NPI: if less than 6 months NP exp* NP2-6+ months NP exp or more* Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs-Required* Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-Required* Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-Required* Ability to set priorities-Required* Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-Required* Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-Required
