TGH is the area's only level I trauma center and one of just two ABA-verified adult & pediatric burn centers in Florida. Job Summary

The Cardiology APP will be responsible for pre and post procedure (inpatient and outpatient) assessment, physical examination, consents, screen and counseling of patients presenting for stress testing and other non-invasive cardiology procedures. They will perform stress test (nuclear, exercise, echo, dobutamine), tilt-table testing independently and prepare report for interpretation by physician. They will work with the NIC director to develop and implement programs within NIC focusing on efficiency and outcomes as well as participating in workflow and organization of the department. The NIC APP's will also focus on education efforts within the program, participate in meetings, cardiology weekly conference, and journal clubs.

Requirements

* Minimum 2 years' experience as cardiology provider* Acute Care Adult or Acute Care Adult Gerontology Certification or Physician Assistant* Experience with echo, nuclear, and exercise stress test preferred
