Registered Nurse (RN)
to:Work with a multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the operating room in a timely manner.Communicate and coordinate operating room activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases.Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures, and standards of care plan to the perioperative patients level of complexity.Minimum Requirements:Facility Requirement:Traveler must have permanent address outside

experience within last 3 years.Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 -Trauma center or similar size hospital.Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks).Licensure and Certification:Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.BLS & ACLS
must
be certified through American Heart Association ONLYReferenceNeeds 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only).FloatingTravelers are the first to float.
The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs
and/or different locations within the organization

During the travelers assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.

Position Urgency:Quick Start
Shifts:36 hrs/wk, Day/Evening, 12 hr shift, Monday- Friday variation of 6:30am-7pm with possible 9:40am-10pm every three weeks. Weekend and weekday call rotation every 5th week. Weekend call is Friday-Monday starting at 3pm on Friday.
**Traveler may be mandated to stay beyond scheduled shift for patient care needs
*On-Call Requirement: Call response time is 45 minutes: 45 minutes from phone call to be dressed in scrubs and reporting to the charge nurse
