We are seeking a full-time Infusion/Manometry Registered Nurse to join our Gastroenterology West clinic in SW Portland. Primary duties include includes esophageal manometry procedures and/or determining and monitoring venipuncture or catheter placement/insertion sites and administering IV medication and treatment, performing patient assessments and triage, providing response management, and patient education. May also perform prescription authorizations and order prescription refills. Phone work will be required for this role. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and solid prior RN experience. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, strong at multi-tasking and dedicated to high quality patient care.
Workdays will be full-time Monday-Friday (shifts will be four 10-hour shifts, day off TBD) No weekends!
Starting pay range, based on experience: $42.10 - $56.96 per hour.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
* Current Oregon RN license is required.* Minimum of two years of nursing experience is preferred.* Current BLS within 60 days of hire.* Good computer and phone skills.* Knowledge of IV medications, fluids and blood products.* Skill in performing venipuncture and working with a variety of vascular access devices associated with infusion.* Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers.
