We pay a starting wage of $24.00/hour for full-time AEMTs.
Lancaster EMS is currently recruiting Full-time Advanced EMTs.
The Lancaster EMS Advanced EMT is responsible for the full spectrum of out of hospital emergency and non-emergency patient care and transportation at the Basic Life Support (BLS) and the Advanced EMT (AEMT) level as outlined in PA EMS Act and as defined by the PA DOH Scope of Practice, Lancaster EMS policies, procedures, protocols and standard operating guidelines.
The ideal candidate will:
* Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and proficiency* Have an in-depth knowledge of PA DOH Protocol* Function effectively in a team dynamic* Possess strong communication skills* Maintain composure under stressful situations* Perform job tasks with minimal supervision* Pass all required background and motor vehicle driving checks* Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
Qualifications:
* Must be 18 years old or older* High school diploma or G.E.D* CPR* PA AEMT* EVOC & EMSVO* Haz-Mat Awareness* Driver's License
