Lancaster EMS is a premier, nationally accredited ambulance service in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Responding to over 38,000 requests for service annually, Lancaster EMS delivers top quality emergent and non-emergent clinical care supported by a highly engaged medical director, modern equipment, and peer-driven performance improvement team.
Lancaster EMS EMTs are responsible for the full spectrum of out of hospital emergency and non-emergency patient care and transportation at the Basic Life Support (BLS) level as outlined in the PA EMS Act and as defined by the PA Department of Health scope of practice.
The ideal candidate will:
* Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and proficiency* Have an in-depth knowledge of PA DOH BLS Protocol* Function effectively in a team dynamic* Possess strong communication skills* Maintain composure under stressful situations* Perform job tasks with minimal supervision* Pass all required background and motor vehicle driving checks* Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
Qualifications:
* 18 years or older* High school diploma or G.E.D* CPR* EVOC* EMSVO* Haz-Mat Awareness* Driver's License
