UT-Regional One Physicians#is currently seeking a#Nurse Practitioner# or Physician Assistant#for#Trauma Step-down.##ICU#experience required. # JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL#FUNCTIONS: Nurse Practitioner performing a complete and accurate trauma history and physical according to established protocols. # JOB REQUIREMENTS: # EDUCATION:##Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program;# #Additional training may be required for specialty areas. #Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the adult and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates. # EXPERIENCE:##Two (2) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant Preferred. Acute#care training preferred. #Experience in a trauma center will be considered in lieu of acute care training. Demonstrated ability to independently work and make clinical assessments. #Additional experience may be required in assigned specialty area. # LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:##Current licensure as RN ior PA n State of Tennessee.# Eligible for Certificate of Fitness (Prescriptive privileges) in State of Tennessee required. ACLS required, ATCN, ATLS strongly recommended.# # PHYSICAL DEMANDS:##Constant walking, standing; lifting and positioning patients/equipment; exposure to infectious agents. #Visual acuity is needed to access color changes. #Heavy Work - Exerting up to 150 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects. #(May be further defined as #with or without assistance.#)
