HR Generalist The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with Regional HR Manager, supporting regional plants. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance. Principal Responsibilities: Post open positions, review resumes, and schedule interviews Performs pre-screen interviews and serves as point of contact for candidates Coordinates staffing functions between department managers Schedules and facilitates new hire orientation Responsible for data entry of employee information in Dayforce system; ensures all changes are supported with proper documentation Uploads documents and maintains files with timely updates Assists with payroll Ensures time and attendance tracking and approvals are completed on time. Assists in administering employee policies Provides advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues Responsible for providing monthly HR reporting and statistics Responds to inquiries regarding health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 401k, or EAP Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation and conducts exit interviews Assist in special projects: handbook, retreats, trainings, update internal HR processes and forms, open enrollment, etc Participates and contributes in the company safety program Perform other related duties as assigned 30% travel required Key Qualifications: Three or more years of work experience in Human Resources required Bachelor's degree preferred Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
