Title: Project Management Team LeaderGeneral Summary of Position:The Project Management Team Leader will be instrumental in driving the strategic vision of the Project Management organization at Granite Telecommunications. This role involves leading a dedicated team of Project Managers in ensuring the successful execution of client deployments. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership qualities, strategic insight, and project management skills to enhance our project delivery capabilities.Duties and Responsibilities:Leadership & Team Development:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Project Management team.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.Project Oversight:Manage a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and drive accountability.Process Improvement:Develop, implement, and refine project management methodologies, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Champion best practices in project management and promote a standardized approach across the organization.Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure project alignment with strategic objectives.Facilitate regular project status meetings, providing transparent updates and addressing any concerns.Resource Allocation & Risk Management:Oversee resource allocation across projects, ensuring optimal utilization of talent and tools.Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.Reporting & Analysis:Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting project progress, risks, and resource needs.Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and integrate findings into future projects.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, Project Management, or a related field.7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Preferred Qualifications:PMP, Six Sigma, Agile certifications desired.Experience in telecommunications preferred.Familiarity with SD-WAN, DIA, Broadband, and VOIP.
