Consult with clients to discuss estate and tax planning needs, including asset distribution and tax implications.Draft and prepare estate planning documents, such as wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and other related documents.Provide counsel on retirement planning, charitable contributions, and insurance options.Develop strategies for clients' estate and tax plans, with a focus on high net worth individuals.Represent clients in court proceedings as necessary.Requirements
5-7 years of experience in estate and tax planning, particularly for high net worth clients.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and within deadlines.Highly organized and detail-oriented.A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications
Licensed to practice law in New York (required).Skills
Proficient in estate and tax planning for high net worth individuals.Experience with drafting Intentionally Defective Trusts, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, Charitable Trusts, and Grantor Retained Trusts.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to advocate for clients and develop comprehensive estate plans.
