Overview:Provides a wide variety of confidential administrative and general support to a Vice President of the Sisters of Mercy Health System. Ensures Mercy Values are reflected in all aspects of the departments operations. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Maintains calendar and coordinates activities to include meeting arrangements, travel plans and appointments.
Composes, edits and routes correspondence.
Sets up and maintains files of correspondence, department reference materials and other documents.
Provides administrative support in coordinating the department budget administration.
Generates and distributes formal presentation materials and reports.
Documents meetings through formal minutes as required and follows up as appropriate.
Answers and screens telephone calls; routes the calls as appropriate or handles routine calls personally. Greets visitors to the department and refers them accordingly.
Provides administrative support on departmental committees.
Appropriately handles all incoming and outgoing correspondence.Qualifications:Experience:
Five years executive administrative assistant experience.Required Education:
High school diploma.Other:
Ability to work with and preserve confidential information. Computer literacy with intermediate skills with Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent interpersonal, communications and organization skills. Ability to deal effectively with diverse groups of people.
