Represent clients in all phases of workers' compensation litigation, including initial investigations, depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals.Provide strategic defense counsel to clients, ensuring effective, outcome-driven legal solutions.Conduct in-depth legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and various legal documents.Analyze complex medical and legal documents to inform case strategy.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved.Negotiate settlements, advocating vigorously for client interests.Stay informed on legislative updates in workers' compensation law, applying new insights to case strategy.Engage in continuous professional development and legal education to maintain a high level of expertise.Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California State Bar.1-15 years of experience in workers' compensation defense.Thorough knowledge of California workers' compensation laws and regulatory landscape.Proven analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Exceptional organizational skills for managing a dynamic caseload.Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.Certifications
Active California State Bar Membership.Skills
