Assist lead trial lawyers in managing a caseload from intake through litigation, trial, and settlementDraft legal documents, conduct legal research, and prepare for court appearances, trials, and depositionsWork directly with clients to manage their expectations and deliver legal adviceCollaborate with the legal team to develop effective case strategiesShow initiative and work independently with an eye toward growth and future leadership opportunitiesRequirements:
J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in OregonMinimum 1-2 years of experience in a legal role; courtroom experience strongly preferred, either as a lawyer trying cases or as a judicial clerkDemonstrated ability to work independently and a desire for career growthStrategic mindset with a history of creative thinking and problem-solvingEvidence of discipline, such as mastery of a hobby, a sport, etc.A history of hard work, particularly in manual labor, is a plus
