Palm Bay, FLJob Description:As a Systems Engineer – Intel & Cyber, you will lead and contribute to the development of leading edge technologies that deliver mission-critical solutions for our customers. In this role you will perform technical planning, concept of operations definition, requirements elicitation and derivation, and analyses throughout the system development lifecycle. In addition, you will perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition in a model-based system engineering environment.Essential Functions:Develop electronic hardware and software architectures and designs based on system level requirements.Develop internal requirements, CONOPs and interface control documents from customer/product requirements.Ensure the logical and systemic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions which meet technical, schedule, and cost constraints.Decompose system requirements to lower level specifications and maintain traceability across engineering specifications.Support full system development lifecycle including concept, design, production, integration, test, installation, operations, maintenance and disposal.Directly support Chief Systems Engineer and interact with senior program managers and customers to define approaches and strategies.Lead trade studies to identify solutions which meet requirements.Coordinate software development and integration and test activities in an Agile software development environment.Provide guidance to development teams at internal and external gate reviews such as technical baseline reviews and design reviews.Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Obtain Polygraph clearance.Up to 10% travel may be required.Other duties as required.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.Preferred Additional Skills:Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration and/or project management, and/or model-based systems engineering.Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering.Experience with embedded hardware and software.Systems Integration of subsystems and multi-segment systems.Existing or prior experience with program systems and customers.Work in a Digital Engineering/MBSE environment.Experience using Microsoft Office products.Excellent people skills to include collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation).
