Our internship program is designed to help you not only understand what we do but how and why we do it. If you are looking for an experience where you can immerse yourself in a business, establish a network, learn, develop your skills, and have some fun, then this is the place for you.The customer care analyst intern will conduct research, performing data analysis on warranty requests, identifying trends, and documenting findings. This is going to be focused on our warranty department at the corporate office. The intern will also contribute to creating a national customer care playbook, which will outline best practices, process flows, and essential documentation for optimizing customer support. Learn the basics of the warranty process, procedures for new home construction and gain customer service experience providing timely updates and feedback to our new homeowners. This includes gaining a basic understanding of the different types of warranty requests and repairs and how to ensure quality from an internal and external customer experience. This is all while learning the broader business strategy, participating in cross-functional projects involving other interns and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:Research & Data AnalysisAnalyze warranty request data to identify trends, common issues, and areas for improvement.Research customer feedback and analyze any pain points within the support process.Compile and interpret data to inform the team on service enhancement opportunities.Playbook DevelopmentAssist in designing a national customer care playbook covering all aspects of the customer support process.Document best practices, standard operating procedures, and workflow guidelines.Process ImprovementCollaborate with the national customer care team to identify areas of improvement in handling customer issues.Assist in developing streamlined procedures and workflows for enhanced service efficiency.Provide insights based on data analysis to recommend actionable process changes.The stuff you will do:Work closely with internal business leaders to learn the homebuilding industry, the Meritage business model and an assigned functional area such as construction, land, marketing, operations, purchasing, finance, human resources, etc.Learn our core values and why they drive everything we doTranslate classroom experience into practical application during the internshipParticipate in cross-functional projects involving other interns and business leaders centered around current business challengesPresent real world business recommendations to senior leadership that can help drive our strategyWrite a paper focusing on the experience or another assigned topicMeritage Homes does not provide Visa sponsorship.#LI-KS1#earlycareerQualifications
