The Business Litigation Associate Attorney will handle a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, representing clients in both State and Federal courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution (ADR) forums. This position involves collaborating with senior associates and partners to develop strategies, conduct research, and draft critical legal documents, leading to comprehensive litigation exposure and professional growth.Duties
Case Management:
Oversee a caseload of complex commercial litigation cases from initiation to resolution.Legal Research & Analysis:
Perform in-depth research on intricate legal issues, especially in areas such as contracts, corporate governance, trade secrets, fiduciary duty, finance, and commercial real estate.Document Drafting:
Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.Court Representation:
Actively represent clients in court appearances, including hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.Depositions:
Conduct and defend depositions; prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and potential trial testimony.Legal Compliance:
Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and professional ethics in all litigation activities.Mentorship:
Offer guidance to junior associates and support staff to foster a collaborative team environment.Requirements
Experience:
3-5 years of focused experience in business and commercial litigation.Client Interaction:
Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Strategic Thinking:
Strong analytical capabilities and a strategic approach to solving legal challenges.Multitasking:
Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under strict deadlines.Professionalism:
Upholds high standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical responsibility.Writing Skills:
Demonstrated proficiency in legal writing and critical thinking, resulting in persuasive and well-reasoned documents.E-Discovery Skills:

Degree:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications
